Salary: £140 - £200 a day

The Role: Maths Teacher – Wandsworth

As a Maths Teacher, you will be instrumental in developing students' mathematical knowledge and fostering skills that are vital for academic achievement and future success. Your core responsibility will be to plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and age groups.

You will inspire students to build confidence in numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking, helping them to understand and apply key mathematical concepts effectively. Through ongoing assessment and targeted feedback, you will monitor student progress, address learning gaps, and provide appropriate challenge to ensure all learners reach their full potential.

As a Maths Teacher will be expected to:

• Deliver clear, well-structured lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Plan and adapt schemes of work and resources in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support.
• Encourage a growth mindset and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, clubs, and trips.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress

Qualifications and requirements – Maths Teacher – Wandsworth

• QTS
• Strong Understanding of the British Mathematical curriculum
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Strong written and communication skills
• Strong ICT knowledge
