Job Title: Level 2 Nursery Nurse

Job Type: 8am -6pm, ASAP Start

Location: Richmond Upon Thames

Salary: Up to £15 Per Hour  

The Role: Level 2 Nursery Nurse – Richmond Upon Thames

As a Level 2 Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5 years. You will work closely with the room leader and other nursery staff to provide high-quality care and a stimulating environment that encourages children to grow socially, emotionally, and educationally. You will support with a wide range of creative and educational activities, both indoors and outdoors, that support early development. Your role will also include encouraging positive behaviour, helping children build confidence, and supporting their early language, motor, and social skills.

In addition to working directly with children, you’ll contribute to daily routines such as snack times, nappy changing/toileting, sleep supervision, and keeping the nursery clean and well-organised. You’ll also be expected to observe and record children’s progress and contribute to their learning journals under the guidance of senior staff.

A Level 2 Nursery Nurse will be expected to:

Qualifications and requirements – Level 2 Nursery Nurse – Richmond Upon Thames

• Level 2 Qualification in Early Years
• Experience in a similar role
• Experience working with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS is required
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
