Job Type: 8:30am -4pm, 3 days a week – September Start

Salary: £140 - £200 a day
The Role: Science Teacher –Wandsworth
As a Science Teacher, you will be teaching classes of up to 30 students KS3 and KS4 science. You will expected to teach across sciences and focus on preparing students for their GCSE Science exams. You will be working in an all girls Secondary School who prides themselves with a supportive and inclusive team environment and creating an ambitious learning environment for all students.
This school welcomes all Science specialisms to apply, offering the successful qualified teacher a part time teaching position.
A Science Teacher will be expected to:
- Develop and deliver engaging science lessons based on curriculum standards.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to reinforce concepts.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive learning environment.
- Establish rules and expectations for student behaviour in both classroom and experiment settings.
- Work with colleagues to coordinate curriculum across grade levels or subjects.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Qualifications and requirements – Science Teacher – Wandsworth
- Relevant Science Degree
- QTS
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong ICT knowledge
