Job Title: Premises Assistant

Job Type: ASAP Start, 9:30am – 5:30pm  

Location: Tower Hamlets  

Salary: £15- £19 per hr  *Depending on Expeirence

The Role: Premises Assistant – Tower Hamlets  

As a Premises Assistant, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the School to ensure a safe and clean environment for both students and staff. You will be trusted with security, maintenance, cleaning and repairs through out the school. 

A Premises Assistant will be expected to:

• General cleaning and restocking of staff and student bathrooms
• Designating deliveries to correct staff
• Restocking cleaning products
• Ensuring entrances are secure and locked
• Opening premises if manager is off site
• Building walk inspections – notifying risks and hazards
• Basic maintenance and repairs
• Basic electrical repairs
• Basic building repairs
• Liaising with contractors

Qualifications and requirements – Premises Assistant – Tower Hamlets

• Enhanced DBS is required
• Experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
