Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a fantastic Secondary School which prides itself of a collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality English lessons and ensuring the academic success of students. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons in line with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and the overall school community
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in teaching English to students of varying abilities
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom
Day-to-day
As an English Teacher, you will engage students in exploring literature, honing their language skills, and fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the English language. You will create inspiring lesson plans, evaluate student progress, and provide guidance and support to help each student reach their academic potential.
