Job Title: SEN Teacher

Job Type: Full time. 8:30AM - 4PM

Location: Sutton

Salary: £150-£200 a Day *Depending on Experience

Do you have a passion to teach students with SEN needs? Are you a hard working teacher looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking experienced SEN Teachers to join a fantastic SEN School in Sutton. The School prides itself for having a supportive team and ground breaking facilities for their students to progress both socially and academically. This is an exciting opportunity for both Primary and Secondary SEN Teachers to work alongside a hardworking team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student development and achievements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or relevant field
  • Teaching certification and/or special education certification
  • Proven experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the development of students with special needs

Day-to-Day: As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs. You will work closely with support staff and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that each student receives the support and guidance they require to thrive academically and personally.
