Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full Time, ASAP Start

Location: Merton

Salary: £90- £100 *Depending on Experience

Overview

We are seeking an engaging and dynamic individual with a strong SEN knowledge and a passion for working with children to join team of hardworking Teaching Assistants. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special educational needs
  • Provide support and guidance to classroom teachers and support staff
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of special educational needs and relevant teaching strategies
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in special education

Day-to-day

  • Working closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Using your expertise to tailor learning experiences to meet the individual needs of students
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and support each other in achieving our goals
