Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our students and teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be able to assist in providing a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in and out of the classroom setting
• Covering lessons when needed
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons
• Collaborate with teachers to create and implement lesson plans
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
• Assist in classroom management and organization

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
• Patience and a passion for assisting students in reaching their full potential
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
• Knowledge of inclusive and diverse teaching practices

Day-to-day

• Supporting individual students or small groups with specific learning needs
• Assisting with classroom activities and tasks as directed by the teacher
• Covering lessons and supervising students during teacher absences
• Providing feedback to students and teachers on student progress
• Collaborating with teachers to create and implement educational plans
