NURSERY NURSE – ISLINGTON
September 2026 Start | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent
We are recruiting an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a thriving Early Years setting in Islington.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children's development through play-based learning and nurturing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development through planned activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
- Assist with observations and assessments.
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and welfare at all times.
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Contribute to maintaining an engaging and stimulating environment.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
