SEN PRIMARY TEACHER – HARROW
September 2026 Start | Full-Time | Long Term to Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary setting in Harrow from September 2026.
The successful candidate will work with pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
- Foster pupil confidence, independence and engagement.
- Develop positive relationships with families and carers.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
