Part-Time Primary Spanish Teacher – Ealing
We are excited to support a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Ealing in recruiting a Part-Time Primary Spanish Teacher, starting in March. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make a real impact by inspiring children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to develop a love of languages.
Role Details:
Position: Part-Time Primary Spanish Teacher
Working days: 3 days per week (specific days to be confirmed with the school)
Start date: March (date TBC)
Key Stages: KS1 and KS2
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging Spanish lessons to primary-aged pupils. You will play a key role in the school’s modern foreign languages programme, helping children build confidence, develop communication skills, and foster an appreciation for language and culture. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with class teachers and the wider school team to ensure that learning is inclusive, structured, and inspiring.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver creative and engaging Spanish lessons across KS1 and KS2, tailored to the needs and abilities of all pupils
Encourage active participation and enthusiasm for language learning
Monitor pupil progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to support development
Develop and use resources to enhance learning and make lessons interactive
Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate Spanish learning across the curriculum where appropriate
Support school-wide initiatives and events promoting cultural awareness and language learning
Ensure that all teaching meets safeguarding requirements and promotes the welfare of children
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching Spanish to primary-aged children is desirable
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage pupils of different ages and abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enthusiasm for modern foreign languages and the ability to bring lessons to life
Commitment to working collaboratively within a team and supporting school values
Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to child protection
