We are excited to support a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Ealing in recruiting a Part-Time Primary Spanish Teacher, starting in March. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make a real impact by inspiring children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to develop a love of languages.

Role Details:

  • Position: Part-Time Primary Spanish Teacher

  • Working days: 3 days per week (specific days to be confirmed with the school)

  • Start date: March (date TBC)

  • Key Stages: KS1 and KS2

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging Spanish lessons to primary-aged pupils. You will play a key role in the school’s modern foreign languages programme, helping children build confidence, develop communication skills, and foster an appreciation for language and culture. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with class teachers and the wider school team to ensure that learning is inclusive, structured, and inspiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and engaging Spanish lessons across KS1 and KS2, tailored to the needs and abilities of all pupils

  • Encourage active participation and enthusiasm for language learning

  • Monitor pupil progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to support development

  • Develop and use resources to enhance learning and make lessons interactive

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate Spanish learning across the curriculum where appropriate

  • Support school-wide initiatives and events promoting cultural awareness and language learning

  • Ensure that all teaching meets safeguarding requirements and promotes the welfare of children

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Previous experience teaching Spanish to primary-aged children is desirable

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage pupils of different ages and abilities

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Enthusiasm for modern foreign languages and the ability to bring lessons to life

  • Commitment to working collaboratively within a team and supporting school values

  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to child protection

Why Apply?
This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and vibrant school environment, helping to develop a high-quality language programme. You will have the chance to make a lasting difference to children’s learning and contribute to a school community that values creativity, curiosity, and achievement.

Interview Process:

  • Interviews will be held as soon as possible, so early applications are encouraged.

If you are passionate about teaching Spanish, enjoy working with children across KS1 and KS2, and hold QTS, we would love to hear from you.
