We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in Plumstead, Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HLTA looking to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

The Role:

• Delivering planned lessons and covering classes in the absence of the teacher

• Supporting pupils’ learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

• Assisting with lesson planning, assessment, and progress monitoring

• Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification

• Have experience working across key stages (primary experience desirable)

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be confident leading lessons and supporting learning outcomes

• Be flexible, proactive, and a strong team player

• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
