Contract: Full-time (35 hours)About the Role
We are working in partnership with a well-established and supportive school in Ealing that is seeking an experienced and proactive School Administrator to join their busy office team on a full-time basis from January. This is a pivotal role within the school, requiring a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and confidence in managing pupil data and administrative systems.The successful candidate will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office, providing professional administrative support to staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately maintain and update pupil records on SIMS, including admissions, leavers, attendance, and demographic data.
Input and manage pupil data in compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and local authority requirements.
Support the preparation and submission of census returns and statutory data reports.
Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and telephone enquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming approach.
Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff as required.
Manage correspondence, filing systems (digital and paper), and record keeping efficiently.
Assist with safeguarding administration, ensuring records are kept up to date and confidential.
Support the coordination of school events, meetings, and appointments.
Work collaboratively with the wider office and school team to ensure consistent procedures and effective communication.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a School Administrator or in a similar role within an educational setting.
Strong working knowledge of SIMS, particularly pupil data inputting and record management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
