About the Role
We are working in partnership with a well-established and supportive school in Ealing that is seeking an experienced and proactive School Administrator to join their busy office team on a full-time basis from January. This is a pivotal role within the school, requiring a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and confidence in managing pupil data and administrative systems.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office, providing professional administrative support to staff, pupils, parents, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain and update pupil records on SIMS, including admissions, leavers, attendance, and demographic data.

  • Input and manage pupil data in compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and local authority requirements.

  • Support the preparation and submission of census returns and statutory data reports.

  • Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and telephone enquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming approach.

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff as required.

  • Manage correspondence, filing systems (digital and paper), and record keeping efficiently.

  • Assist with safeguarding administration, ensuring records are kept up to date and confidential.

  • Support the coordination of school events, meetings, and appointments.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider office and school team to ensure consistent procedures and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a School Administrator or in a similar role within an educational setting.

  • Strong working knowledge of SIMS, particularly pupil data inputting and record management.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Professional, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Benefits

  • Full-time position within a supportive and well-run school.

  • Opportunity to work as part of an experienced and collaborative office team.

  • Competitive pay, dependent on experience.

  • Ongoing professional support and guidance.

  • Potential for role continuity beyond the initial period, subject to school needs.

If you are an experienced school administrator with strong SIMS knowledge and are looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment, we encourage you to apply by submitting your CV.
