Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 1pm OR 8:00am – 1:30pm
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Location: Hammersmith
Contract: Part-time, term-time only
DBS: Valid Enhanced DBS requiredAbout the Role
We are seeking an organised, friendly, and efficient Part-Time School Administrator to join a busy school office team. This is a key frontline role that supports the smooth day-to-day running of the school, assists staff and parents, and ensures our administrative processes operate to a high standard.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates professionally, and enjoys contributing to a supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Reception
Act as the first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors, and external agencies.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and queries, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
Maintain visitor logs and follow safeguarding protocols for entry into the school.
Administration & Data
Support daily administrative tasks including filing, letters, reports, and maintaining records.
Update and maintain school databases and student information systems (Bromcom experience desirable but not essential).
Assist with attendance monitoring, including daily registers and absence follow-up.
Pupil & Staff Support
Provide general administrative support to teachers and senior leaders.
Assist with preparing documents for meetings, parent communication, and school events.
Support the organisation of school activities, trips, and communication with families.
General Office Operations
Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and stock supplies.
Ensure office procedures are followed and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding standards at all times.
Requirements
Valid Enhanced DBS (essential).
Availability to start immediately.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Confident using MS Office and school systems.
Bromcom experience preferred but not essential—training can be provided.
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced school environment.
