Part Time Cleaner

Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Hayes, Greater London
Hours: 14.5 hours per week

• Monday – Thursday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

• Friday: 3:00pm – 5:30pm

• Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £15 - £17 per hour

Job Description:
Educate Staffing is seeking a reliable and conscientious School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a school environment in Hayes. The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, and other school areas as required

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors

• Dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures, and furniture

• Emptying bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste

• Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition

• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the relevant staff

• Following all health and safety policies, including COSHH regulations for cleaning materials

Person Specification:

• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate

• Proven reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness

• Flexibility to adapt to changing cleaning priorities within a school setting

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
