The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Year 3 Class Teacher to take responsibility for a well-behaved and motivated class of learners. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, track pupil progress effectively, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver creative, high-quality lessons in line with the Year 3 National Curriculum.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the year group and wider school.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil development.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Enhanced DBS check (on the update service or willing to obtain one) – essential.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and strong assessment skills.
Ability to plan engaging, differentiated lessons for diverse learners.
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
A positive, professional attitude and commitment to safeguarding.
