Job Title: PE Teacher

Contract: Full-Time, Until July

About the Role:
Educate Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated PE Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school based in Croydon. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and continuing until July.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons that inspire and engage students, encouraging them to achieve their full potential both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in promoting the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship across the school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Develop and implement creative schemes of work that cater to all abilities.

• Motivate and inspire pupils to participate and achieve in physical education.

• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and attainment.

• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events.

• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, following all health and safety procedures.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Proven experience teaching PE within a UK school setting.

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for physical education.

• A valid and enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service preferred).

• Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.

• Full-time availability from ASAP until July.
