Salary: £160–£210 Per Day

The Role: Class Teacher – Tower Hamlets

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time class teaching role within a supportive Key Stage 2 team, delivering the national curriculum to a mixed-ability Year 3 class.

You will play a central role in planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all children feel supported, challenged, and inspired. The school is looking for a teacher who is passionate about raising achievement and can build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

A Class Teacher will be expected to:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
• Plan and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with EAL and SEN
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress regularly and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with the wider Key Stage 2 team and leadership
• Establish strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil development
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations for all pupils

Qualifications and requirements – Class Teacher – Tower Hamlets

• Qualified Teacher Status is essential
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3
• Strong understanding of the primary national curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident in using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice in a diverse classroom
