Part-Time Caretaker – Chiswick
Location: Chiswick, London
Hours: 3 days per week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Contract: Part-timeWe are seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker to join our team in Chiswick. This role is ideal for someone practical, organised, and proactive, with the ability to ensure that our premises are clean, safe, and well maintained. As the caretaker, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the site, helping to create a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out general caretaking and maintenance duties, including cleaning, tidying, and ensuring all areas are kept to a high standard.
Opening and securing the premises, ensuring the site is safe at all times.
Monitoring the condition of the building and reporting any maintenance or repair requirements.
Assisting with setting up rooms and spaces for activities, meetings, or events.
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed and hazards are identified and addressed promptly.
Supporting staff and visitors with practical requirements where needed.
Requirements
Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm without exception.
A valid DBS check is required for this role.
Previous experience in caretaking, facilities management, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role is desirable.
Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage tasks effectively.
Good communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
