Cover Supervisors – Secondary School – Watford

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support a successful secondary school in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working within education, supporting young people, and gaining valuable classroom experience.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. Your role is to ensure students remain on task, follow the lesson plan provided, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure all students are engaged and learning effectively
• Provide feedback to teaching staff where necessary
• Support the wider school community as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, mentoring or similar)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently
• A positive and adaptable approach to working with secondary-aged students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
