Job Title: Primary Teacher
Job Type: 8am – 4pm
Location: Southwark
Salary: £140- £200 Per day
The Role: Primary Teacher – Southwark
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils to reach their full potential. You will create a positive learning environment where children feel valued, motivated, and confident to take risks in their learning. Strong classroom management, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues are essential.

A Primary Teacher you will be expected to:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring progress and achievement for all abilities.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and additional needs.
- Monitor, track, and report on pupil attainment and progress, setting clear targets for improvement.
- Promote positive behaviour and a strong learning ethos within the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and subject leads to enhance provision and share best practice.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of progress and next steps.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs, and enrichment activities.
- Support pupils’ well-being and transition to secondary school, fostering resilience, independence, and confidence
Qualifications and requirements – Primary Teacher – Southwark
- QTS is required
- Enhanced DBS is required
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver inspiring lessons
- Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
