A vibrant and well-established two-form entry primary school in Islington is looking for a confident and committed Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time contract basis from September 2025. The successful candidate will join a strong year group team and benefit from shared planning, peer support, and regular professional development. This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about high-quality teaching and building positive relationships with pupils.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching across the primary phase (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies

• Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation

• A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching

• Commitment to inclusive practice and pupil progress

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to pupil needs

• Use assessment to inform teaching and provide targeted support

• Work collaboratively with year group colleagues to share ideas and resources

• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
